History
In 1955, United Fund started its activities with 9 agencies on China Lake Naval Base. In 1981 it became United Way of Indian Wells Valley. Between 2003 and 2011 $2,007,970 was collected locally and distributed locally to United Way of Indian Wells Valley Member Agencies
